Español: Con el tacto y sonoridad del vidrio sobre el tablero grabado de pizarra, nuestra particular recreación del juego de las doce líneas (XII Scripta), permite emular las antiguas partidas apreciadas por los romanos, como demuestran los abundantes ejemplos hallados por todo el Imperio.

Este juego debió acompañar en sus viajes al emperador Claudio, en las mesas ajustadas a sus carruajes.
Similar al actual Backgammon, consiste en sacar antes cinco fichas (=calculi) del tablero.

• Incluye: Reglas del juego, tablero, dados y fichas necesarias para dos jugadores.
• Medidas: 30 x 20 cm (Largo x ancho). Grosor: 0,3 cm.

English: The sound and touch of glass over the engraved slate of this particular “Twelve lines” Roman game (XII Scripta), allows recreating those ancient games appreciated and widely played by the Romans; as attested by the numerous examples found at archaeological sites from all over the entire Roman Empire.

This game may have followed Emperor Claudius on his trips; in boards adjusted to his carriages.
Similar to current Backgammon, the object is to be the first to move off the board five pieces (calculi).
